The 7150 is a quad, high-speed dataconverter suitable for connection as the HF or IF input of a communications system. User-Configurable Virtex-5 FPGA Modules with Plug-In I/O. Acromag’s PMC-VSX boards feature a reconfigurable Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA enhanced with multiple high-speed memory buffers and a high-throughput PCI-X interface. Field I/O interfaces to the FPGA via the rear J4/P4 connector and/or with optional front mezzanine plug-in I/O modules. The result is a powerful and flexible I/O processor module that is capable of executing your custom instruction sets and algorithms.

  • Application Note: Integrated VXS SIGINT Digital Receiver/Processor - DRS Tuner & VMETRO DSP Engine
    This application note describes an integrated solution combining a high-performance digital receiver from DRS Signal Solutions and a high-performance data processing solution from VMETRO. This combination of Digital Tuner and VXS DSP engine demonstrates a low-risk approach to the development of Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare systems that are deployed in air and rugged conduction-cooled environments. This combination reduces integration risk by providing a reliable, high-performance system with a high throughput data interface between the tuner and signal processing hardware.
